1. கடவுள் வாழ்த்து
[இறைவனது பண்புகள், வழிபாடு பயன் முதலியவற்றைக் கூறுதல்]
6. பொறிவாயில் ஐந்தவித்தான் பொய்தீர் ஒழுக்க நெறிநின்றார் நீடுவாழ் வார்.
[ப-ரை] பொறி – மெய், வாய், கண், மூக்கு, செவி யாகிய பொறிகள் ஐந்தின், வாயில் வழியாக உடைய, ஐந்து – ஐந்து ஆசைகளையும், அவித்தான் அறுத்தவ னுடைய, பொய்தீர் – பொய்யில்லாத (மெய்யான], ஒழுக்க. ஒழுக்கமான, நெறி – வழியில், நின்றார்- வழுவாது நின்ற வர்கள், நீடு எக்காலத்திலும் ஒரு தன்மையராய், வாழ்வார் – வாழ்வார்கள்.
(க-ரை] மெய்,வாய்,கண்,மூக்கு,செவியாகிய ஐந்து பொறிகளின் வழியாக வரும் ஆசைகளை அறுத்தவ னுடைய மெய்யான ஒழுக்க வழியில் நின்றவர்கள், எக் காலத்திலும் ஒரு தன்மையராய் வாழ்வார்கள்.

பொறிவாயில் ஐந்தவிதம்

காங்கும் காலம் எல்லாம் தானம்,
நீங்கா மெய் வழியில் நின்றால்,
நீடிக்கும் உன் வாழ்வு தேன்கலம்.

மெய்க்கண் பார்த்து உணரும் உலகம்,
வாயினால் சொல்லும் மெய் வாக்கு,
கண்ணால் பார்த்து அறிந்து வாழ்தல்,
மூக்கினால் உணரும் தூய்மை மார்க்கம்.
செவியால் கேட்டு நல்லதை செய்தல்,
இவை ஐந்தும் துறந்தால் நேர்மை வெல்லும்,
பொய்யில்லா வாழ்வில் நீ நின்றால்,
நீடுவாழ்வாய் உன் காலம் மெய்யில் பெருமை தெள்ளும்.
