1. கடவுள் வாழ்த்து
[இறைவனது பண்புகள், வழிபாடு பயன் முதலியவற்றைக் கூறுதல்]
வேண்டுதல் வேண்டாமை இலானடி சேர்ந்தார்க்கு யாண்டும் இடும்பை இல.
[ப – ரை ] வேண்டுதல்-விரும்புதலும், வேண்டாமை-வெறுத்தலும், இலான்அடி – இல்லாதவனுடைய அடிகளை, சேர்ந்தார்க்கு – எப்போதும் நினைப்பவர்களுக்கு, யாண்டும் – எக்காலத்திலும், இடும்பை – துன்பங்கள், இல இல்லாமற்போகும்.
(க-ரை) விருப்பும் வெறுப்பும் இல்லாதவனான இறைவ னின் அடிகளை நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்களுக்கு எக் காலத்திலும் துன்பமே உண்டாகாது.
For those who surrender to the feet of the One beyond desires and aversions, there shall be no sorrow, ever.
“வேண்டுதல் வேண்டாமை” (Desires and Aversions):
This phrase refers to the dualities of human emotions—desires (what we crave) and aversions (what we reject or dislike). These are the root causes of mental agitation and suffering in life.“இலானடி” (The Feet of the One beyond desires and aversions):
“இலான்” means “the one who is devoid of” or “beyond,” and “அடி” refers to “feet,” symbolizing surrender or refuge at the divine’s feet. Here, it signifies the ultimate reality or God, who is untouched by worldly desires and aversions.“சேர்ந்தார்க்கு” (For those who surrender):
This highlights the act of surrendering oneself completely to the divine, letting go of ego, desires, and attachments.“யாண்டும் இடும்பை இல” (No sorrow, ever):
For those who have surrendered to the divine, there will be no suffering or pain (“இடும்பை” means troubles or sorrows). The promise is eternal peace and liberation from the cycle of suffering.
இறைவன் அடியில் அமர்ந்து
ஓசையில்லா மனத்தில், நினைக்கிறேன் உன்னை,
இறைவனே, அடியில் அமர்ந்து வாழ்கிறேன்.

வேண்டுதலும் வேண்டாமையும்,
இதுவெல்லாம் மனத்தை காலி செய்யும்.
இலானடி சேர்ந்தால், எதுவும் தேவையில்லை,
இறைவன் அடியிலே அமைதி பெறுவோம்.

ஓ… இறைவன் அருளில் நீங்காமல் நிற்போம்.

விருப்பும் வெறுப்பும் இல்லாத மனமே,

யாண்டும் நீ என்னோடு, துன்பம் வராது என,
இறைவன் அருளில் நீ தோன்றுவாய் என்று.
